Mr. Pramod N. Desai, Senior Partner.

Mr. P. N. Desai is a Mechanical engineer from IIT Bombay with at least 30 years of practical experience in production technology. He has been associated with gears and gearbox manufacturing since 25 years. He designs manufactures and markets his own gear boxes since the past 11 years.

Earlier from 1976 to 1983 he has worked in the capacity of a works manager and a product development engineer with M/s REMI group. He was responsible for evaluating the foreign design of geared motors with the German collaborators. Designing and manufacturing a complete set of jigs and fixtures, establishing quality control norms for the entire manufacturing process, and marketing the product through various OEMs.

From 1965 to 1977 he worked as a Production Engineer With M/s Crofts India, he was associated with installation of new plant and machinery of gear boxes and manufacture of jigs and fixtures and complete process development. He obtained thorough practical experience on modem machining, and on sophisticated machines like Gear Grinding, Gear Hobbing and Worm Grinding etc. He also managed the assembly and quality control department.

Mr. Amit P. Desai, Partner

Mr. Amit P. Desai is a Mechanical engineer with 8 years of practical experience with various companies in the United states. He has joined us since May of 1996. He brings us his experiences of modem computer aided design & manufacturing practices, cellular manufacturing, and statistical process control. He has been briefly exposed to marketing programmable automation products since 1994 and is using his marketing exposure and sales training for our domestic and international market development.

After completing his Master of Science degree in Industrial and systems engineering he has worked primarily as a manufacturing analyst and a SPC implementation engineer with fabrication, defence, medical electronics, pharmaceutical, and power electronics companies. He is very conversant in computer skills and has worked with the best Manufacturing Requirement Planning systems, Robotic Systems, Computer Aided Design systems, and Computerized Numerical Control Systems. As a marketing representative of MJs Giddings & Lewis USA he has been marketing Programmable Logic Controllers to various industries (Textile, Pharmaceutical, Packaging, etc.). He has a very strong background in statistical process control and modernizing the manufacturing process.
